The growing popularity of electric vehicles has, at times, strained the existing infrastructure, leaving drivers navigating through the city with a sense of charging anxiety.
However, there’s a silver lining on the horizon as the city actively invests in expanding and enhancing its charging network, demonstrating a commitment to making sustainable transportation more accessible and alleviating the frustrations associated with EV charging in Vancouver, and surrounding areas. Journie by Chevron is currently offering free electric vehicle charging, but their stations seem to frequently have issues. Chargepoint is widely available, but often very slow. Electrify Canada near Squamish was fast, but slightly expensive.
